Cindy Sherwood, is a retired professional nurse with a holistic approach to care. She received her degree from SUNY and training in Nursing Management and Health Care Informatics at Slippery Rock. With over 30 years of experience in nursing she has excelled in both administrative and direct care roles. During her 10 years as a Hospice and Homecare Case Manager and Consultant, Cindy often managed cases involving serious, life-threatening illnesses, including various cancers including GBM. A strong advocate for alternative therapies, Cindy incorporates Eastern and Naturopathic modalities into her practice. She is also a trained Auricular Acupuncturist. Cindy’s research career began at Pacific Marine Biotech in 2023. She later joined the Cancer Wellness Clinic with a primary focus on difficult to treat Solid Brain Tumors. Cindy is currently working toward Certification in Integrative Health & Functional Medicine Coaching.
